The customer never sends you the payment as you can cash the check that you print.

What if I told you you could even accept MasterCard / Visa with this CheckMAN software? When you obtain a Visa or MasterCard, or most other major credit cards, the issuing bank will give you some "courtesy checks."   These checks work just like any other check. When you gather the payment information from your customer, you get the info from these checks. The check is printed and you endorse and deposit the draft like all the others!  However the charge will appear on their credit card statement.
